Arts Alive is a community based arts programme in the heart of Galway’s West End, where participants with an intellectual disability can enjoy working to a high standard on creative projects which connect them with the community.
Their first theatre performance The Photographer’s Dream is developed and directed by the fantastic Miquel Barcelo. Set in a photographer’s studio, it explores the theme of memories, how we treasure them, how we try to capture a moment in time and what happens when the wind comes in and stirs them all up!
