Livefeed ends epic journey with three visually stunning youth music concerts
April represents the culmination of Livefeed’s epic journey with Galway 2020 which started in 2019 and has taken in workshops and gigs across the city and county as well as a whole series of live and pre-recorded performances reflecting the current times. To mark the final month of the popular youth music project, Livefeed will broadcast three concerts recorded live in Nuns Island Theatre and the Galway Arts Centre.
On Friday 9th April at 8pm tune in to the Livefeed YouTube channel for performances from Sorcha Carrick, Mia Fitzgerald, Jayden Murphy and Molly Canavan. A week later, on Friday 16th April at 8pm the channel will premiere a concert with Shane Killilea Curran, Siobhan Kelleher, Uisce Jones and Ellen Keane Quinn and, on April 30th at 8pm, Livefeed will finish with the premiere of a series of performances by young songwriters and musicians recorded in the Galway Arts Centre.

Livefeed
Livefeed is a Galway 2020 project created by local songwriters Tracy Bruen, Eoin Dolan and David Boland with the aim of empowering young people to pursue interests in songwriting, performance, audio production, sound engineering and music photography through workshops, mentorship and hands-on experience at events. Since 2019 they have worked with young people throughout Galway city and county and, since the closure of the live music industry, have adapted to online presentation with high quality pre-recorded live performances and online gigs.
Galway 2020 European Capital of Culture
Galway is European Capital of Culture in 2020. Due to the impact of Covid 19 the cultural programme has been reimagined, with local and national artists and cultural organisations that won Galway the European Capital of Culture designation remaining at its core.
The ambitious programme comprises both digital and live events which take place across the villages, towns, islands and the city of Galway and offers theatre, music and sport, to poetry, film, visual art and much more.
