Fresh From The Fringe is a collection of original short plays debuted at The Claremorris Fringe Festival 2023. Touring with The Bó Vine Collective; a new west of Ireland arts group are Dear Diary by Sarah Fahy, Ivory Lace by Anne Walsh Donnelly and Send In The Clowns by Nicola Kean.
The Bó Vine Collective is a new west of Ireland arts group consisting of like-minded drama friends bringing original drama, art and literature to audiences looking for something new. They formed after meeting at The Claremorris Fringe Festival 2022 and took to the road with three award winning original plays and so Fresh From The Fringe was born. This year two of its members have new plays shortlisted for the fringe again; Anne Walsh Donnelly‘s Ivory Lace brings us back to the farm, starring Vincent Mc Hale, Des Gilsenan and Joanne Dean, directed by Brid Quinn. Sarah Fahy’s Dear Diary is a mother and daughter story starring her own daughter Maura Healy, Moira Mahony and Sarah herself. Moira and Sarah share the role of director. This year The Bó Vine Collective have invited another fringe play Send In The Clowns by Nicola Kean to join them; starring Hazel Lloyd, Ethan Jordan and Aishling Costello, directed by John Farragher.
