Young People

Galway Arts Centre actively supports children and young people across Galway city and county who benefit from community-based arts programmes and schools’ workshops. This is delivered through the Galway Youth Theatre, Red Bird Youth Collective and our Youth Council.

Families

Families are always welcome in Galway Arts Centre and entry to our galleries is always free. View our exhibitions together, and enjoy a complimentary pack with materials and ideas relating to our shows.

Schools & School Tours

Galway Arts Centre provides a welcoming, year round space for people to participate in the arts through providing a high quality arts experience for people of all ages.

Art & Aging

Established in 2005, Burning Bright is Galway Arts Centre’s programme dedicated to encouraging older people to celebrate and engage in their own creativity. This programme delivered high quality engagement and facilitation by professional artists working in range of contexts and care settings across Galway City.

Creative Communities

Galway Arts Centre’s Creative Communities programme works with local and national partners to develop targeted creative programmes for vulnerable and/or marginalised communities.
